Dr. Bischoff is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Biography

Dr. Bischoff is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Since 2015 she has been the Medical Director of the Vanderbilt Thyroid Center, and Associate Program Director for the Endocrine Fellowship. She is past Chair of the American Thyroid Association’s former Ethics Advisory Committee (2018-19) Ethics Committee, and Vice-Chair of the Thyroid Cancer Guidelines of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. Dr. Bischoff has authored numerous publications, routinely presents her work nationally and is the Principle Investigator for two clinical trials for advanced thyroid cancer investigating tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy on iodine avid and iodine refractory disease. She is also the Director of the Endocrine Outpatient Elective at the Vanderbilt School of Medicine.
